How long is our rental window? When can we start setting up?

Rates include access to the space at 11.00am- 11.00 pm with a hard stop of 10:00 pm. If you would like to set up earlier than the contracted time you can access the space for $100.00/hr.
Saturday rate applies to NYE as well as Sundays of Memorial & Labor Day Weekends. Corporate Weekday (M-TH) rates available

Do I have to use a caterer from your Preferred Vendor List?

We do allow outside catering but that vendor must have insurance and be approved by “Studio Polonia” staff prior to working with them for your event. We take quality seriously and we want the very best for our clients! We have full size commercial kitchen which vendor can use. We also have approved vendors we can provide list.

Can I have a DJ or a Band?

Yes, we welcome both. We do have recommendations.
We have a Karaoke system (prerecorded music if needed) to dance or sing.

Can I have catered food dropped off and then serve it myself?

You can only do this for non-wedding events. We will need to approve of this as well to make sure that you have the right number of staff to assist you if the caterer does not provide staffing.

Do you have a parking lot?

We provide three 2 car garages accommodating six cars on the property plus street and neighborhood parking is available.

What are your BYOB Restrictions?

Alcohol needs to be purchased through your caterer or can be purchase from next door 6720 West Belmont, Konrads Liquor Store open from 11am – 10pm. All alcohol must be served by your caterer or a staffing company. We do not allow shots, bottle service, or any other self-serve options. Two bars with refrigerators can be used for drink serving.

Are tables and chairs included in your rental price?

Yes, we include bar tables, rounds, farm tables, lounge furniture, dining chairs, benches, and flatscreen TV in our rates. Just ask for a list of our inventory. Table cloths, plates, and cutlery were provided.

Is there Wifi available in the space?

Yes, we have commercial-grade WiFi.

Do you have a sound system we can use?

Yes. We have a house sound system that allows you to create playlists remotely. Our microphones are also available for rent as well.

Can we set up custom decorations?

Yes, within limits. We ask that you do not use nails, screws, etc. and that you remove the décor at the end of your event. You will need to hire an insured professional for any installation that involves a ladder. All outside tables and chairs must be felt padded and the utmost care must be taken when loading into our venue. Our space features high-end oil-treated wooden floors.

Do you allow floral?

You may handle the floral decor on your own as long as it is being installed and taken away by friends or family members that are not attending the wedding. We do not allow guests that have enjoyed the festivities to also work on removing decor at the end of the event.

Are there hotels nearby?

Within 7 miles there several hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, and 20 others serving
O’Hare international airport. O’Hare airport is within 8 miles, 20 minutes driving from the venue.

Can we have our stuff dropped off the day before? How about picking up the day after?

We take it on a case-by-case basis but usually, we are booked with events backto-back. Please plan to have everything dropped off and picked up on the same day.

Can we ship packages to your venue?

Unfortunately, we are not set up to receive packages. Please ship your items to the nearest FedEx for in-store pickup.

Is your space handicap accessible?

We are working on this but as of now, it is not accessible.

Do you have a coat room?

We have plenty of coat racks but no designated coatroom.

Do you have a bridal suite?

We have a bridal suite available for an additional fee.

Are there any restrictions on the type of event?

We do not allow ticketed events.

Do you have a kitchen?

We have a large commercial-grade kitchen included for your caterer’s usage.

Do we need insurance?

Studio Polonia require Special Event Liability insurance. The certificate of insurance must list Studio Polonia, its members, shareholders, directors, officers, agents, employees, and contracted vendors as additionally insured and protect against bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and any other loss arising out of the use of the Studio Polonia facilities. The certificate of insurance must have a single liability limit of no less than $1 million and general liability limit if no less than $2 million You will need to purchase “Day of Event Insurance” through the link provided in your contract. It will cost roughly $120.00. If you would like us to use our company’s insurance agent, request need to be submitted 30 days prior to your event.

Do you allow shots?

Along with the rest of Chicago’s stand alone venues, our licensing does not permit this. We recommend looking into restaurants with private spaces if you’d like to include this type of beverage into your festivities.

Do you allow food trucks or street side activities?

We are not able to allow private events to occupy the street side of West Belmont Ave. It is a city regulation and insurance will not cover any street side incidents

Final Payment & Guarantee

Final payment is due 20 days prior to your event. We accept the following forms of
payment: Online payment through our website, Cashier’s check, Wire Transfer and/or
Zelle payment. There is a 3% surcharge for all other forms of credit card payments. Final
charges will be based on your guaranteed guest count ten days prior to your event. The
host will be billed per this confirmed count, or the actual number of guests attending,
whichever is greater. Any balance the night of the event will be charged to the credit card
on file.

Cancellation

If an event is canceled with less than 20 days’ notice, the cancellation fee is 60% of your total rental fee
